Monsoon (June – September): The city experiences torrential rains and high humidity (often above 80%). June and July typically see the highest rainfall, with monthly averages exceeding 350mm. Flooding in low-lying areas and the Brahmaputra River can occur during peak downpours. Autumn (October): A transitional month where the rains taper off, leaving the landscape lush and green. Temperatures are moderate, making it a popular time for visitors.
